Justin has done graduation in Fine Arts with areas of specialization in sculpture, installation, performance, metal-smith including art history from NSCAD University. In 2008, he has already participated in three shows namely, 'Ordinary People' presented by the Eye Level Gallery, 'S.A.G.S.R.I. Forum', The Khyber ICA in Halifax NS and 'Justin Tyler Tate & Tara Nicholson' at Jeffery Boone Gallery, Vancouver BC , Canada. His works have also been selected in the 2007 Space Mission, McCleave Gallery, Dawson City YK, Canada, also in shows like 'Here it is!', Anna Leonowens Gallery, Halifax NS, 'Art: to Ease Crappy Conversation', Loop Gallery, Toronto ON and 'What Is Sculpture?', Anna Leonowens Gallery, Halifax NS, Canada. He had a solo show titled 'See Tetris', Anna Leonowens Gallery at Halifax NS, Canada, 2006.
Justin has received from the Balcone Art Society as a Featured artist and grant from Art in the Park: Confederation Centre Art Gallery in conjuncture with Parks Canada artist residency program. |
