Arya has done MVA in Sculpture  from RBU  and has been participating in shows from 1999 onwards, Some of the recent shows have been held at Academy of Fine Arts, Birla Academy, Information Centre, Metropolitan Annual Art Exhibition. Arya has been awarded by  Kolkata Information Centre in 2003 and Academy of Fine Arts in 2003-2005 in a row and has participated in Terracotta Workshop, Dokra Workshop and Dye&Print Workshop organised by RBU.
