Paul’s formal education in art has been from RBU, Kolkata. At present he teaches in the College of Visual Art, Kolkata. He has participated in various All India Exhibitions of Fine Arts, Birla Academy of Art and Culture, West Bengal State Academy, Lalit Kala Mela and exhibitions at New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. He had his solo shows in ’86, ’89, ’91, ’92 and ’94 and Group exhibitions since 1977. He is a member of Painter’s orchestra since ’87 as well as the member of International Forum of Artist. Paul has participated in several art workshops and camps in West Bengal and Assam. He has even published a Serigraph Painting Album sponsored by Lalit Kala Academy in 1993 and a book “Poems on Drawing”. He has been awarded in the All India art Teacher’s Art Exhibition organised by Camel Art Foundation in 2006. His works are in the collection of numerous art collectors in India and abroad. |
