Profile:

Mr. Chandan Roy (1959) is a young self-taught sculptor of Bengal. His favourite medium of expression is bronze. He had worked under the guidance of well known sculptor, Tapas Sarkar. Now he is one of the members of ‘Calcutta Sculptors’. His abstract figurative forms show simplicity and naivety.
