Saptarshi Das is influenced by the grievances of the younger generation. His recent works use recycled objects and has a tone of wit and humour. His works are essentially a critique on contemporary life. His works are a reflection of the world around him. His recent works are mostly in new media. He has used discarded waste materials for his recent works.  .
