Tusar is presently pursuing MVA from Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata. His works have been regularly selected at the Annual Exhibition of the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata since 2003, Annual Exhibition of Kolkata Information Center in 2008, Annual Exhibition of Camlin Art Foundation Annual Exhibition of Metropolitan Art Salon, 2004 and Annual Exhibition of the Art Society of India (Mumbai) in 2007. He has participated in the group shows Birla Academy, Kolkata in 2005, 2007 and 2008 and also in Metropolitan Art Salon and Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata in 2008. He has attended the Artist?s Circle workshop and RCGC Kolkata workshop in 2007 and Student & Japanese Artist workshop at Government College of Art & Craft in 2004. He is the recipient of Gold Medal in Painting from Annual Exhibition of Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, Gold Medal in Painting from Government College of Art & Craft in 2007, Rabindranath tagore memorial award from Government college of art & craft in 2008 and Rash Behari Dutta Memorial Scholarship from Government College of Art & Craft in 2006.
