Profile:

As a sculptor and painter, Sourav\'s works have spontaneity in form and versatility of the medium. In 1995, he had participated in All India Casting Workshop for Dokra process, organized by Govt. College of Art & Craft, Kolkata. Besides, he also participated in the workshop of Mask and Printmaking in 2000 to expand the dimention of thought process. His participation in group shows includes Annual Exhibition at Govt. College of Art & Craft in 1997 and Birla Academy of Art & Culture in 1998, Sculpture 2000 at Gorky Sadan, Gallery Lombardi, Austin Texas in 2002 and more recently in folk in modern at Aakriti Art Gallery in Sept. 2006. He was also one of the artist of Gen Next I at Aakriti Art Gallery in 2006.
