Born in 1978, she graduated with Honours in History from the University of Calcutta, an academic background that has informed her reflective and conceptually attentive approach to image-making. Entirely self-taught as an artist, Ghosh developed her visual language outside formal art institutions, allowing for an intuitive and personal evolution of form and content.
