Rajen Mondal

(b.1970)

Rajen has done MVA in graphics (Printmaking) from the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata. His works were exhibited at the 50th National Exhibition held in Chandigarh this year. He was also a participant at the Signature Art Fest, Kolkata 2008 and in the show \'Inscriptions\' organized by the Kanvas Art Gallery. Rajen\'s works are regularly selected at the annual shows of the Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata and the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata. Reflection of another day presented a show titled \'Confluence\', 2006 where Rajen\'s works got the opportunity to be showcased.

Rajen has been awarded the  \'Haren Das\' Award, 2003, Birla Academy Award, 2004, Shyamal Datta Memorial Exhibition (Certificate of Merit), 2007 and 2008 and also the Academy of Fine Arts\' Certificate of Merit, 2002.
