His achievements have been recognised through several prestigious awards, including Birla Academy of Art & Culture Awards in 1994, 1999, and 2000, the All India Art Exhibition Award during the Jamini Roy Birth Centenary Exhibition in 1986, and the Gold Medal at the Inter-University National Youth Festival, Akola.
